ASRC Federal Holding Company Information Assurance Analyst 2 (JFHQ/DODIN Operations) in Alexandria, Virginia
ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst 2 with excellent collaboration skills to support our Cybersecurity Support Services (CSSS) contract with the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
This position supports all activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems. Confers with and advises other section leaders regarding administrative policies, internal controls, and security procedures, resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods. Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support, respond, and report activities for U.S. Cyber Command (USCC) and Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) as directed
Use your experience working independently and managing acticities efficiently without constant supervision.
Coordinate USCC/JFHQ Orders and compliance reporting and support DoD CIO collection and reporting as directed
Follow Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) reporting process, acknowledge IAVA or their equivalent releases
Manage, disseminate, collect, and report Situational Awareness Reports (SAR) from affected programs for the enterprise
Ensure supported assets are complaint with JFHC-DODIN OPORS, TASKORDs, IAVM notifications and STIG requirements per published compliance dates
Cross-reference weekly JFHQ/IAVM compliance with cybersecurity tool scanning results
Coordinate collection of artifacts, reference materials and reports from components for submission to compliance portals and USCC/JFHQ repository
Review compliance activities such as POA&Ms for clarity, sound judgement, and acceptable time frames for remediation
Support Incident Response Team activities regarding data lost prevention, unauthorized use, and network exploits/attacks by providing end user guidance on appropriate use
Cross-train on IAVM, PPSM, and CAP/SNAP/GIAP request reviews to manage, collect, and review data against DISA guidelines to support as needed

Qualifications
The selected candidate must have an active Secret clearance
US Citizenship is Required
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity/information assurance activities
Must be willing to work onsite daily within a SIPR room
Experience with DoD RMF, DIACAP or NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with Information assurance including ACAS reporting and IAVM Compliance
Experience working with classified materials
Must be able to work onsite at Alexandria (Virginia) or Seaside (California)
