This position is works closely with the customer, IT support staff, and the media department to design, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and train staff members and customer on the Avid and non-Avid media production software and platforms. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Maintain ACSR Elite certification in the following area: Avid Media Composer System Support, Avid NEXIS System Support, MediaCentral | Cloud UX Support, System Maintenance, System Support, Troubleshooting (Problem Solving). Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the installation, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Avid Media Composer, Avid NEXIS, and MediaCentral | Cloud UX. Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the installation, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Avid non-linear editing systems: Avid Media Central PAM Systems, Avid Media Central MAM Systems, Pro Tools Products, iZotope Products, Telestream Vantage and related systems. Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the installation, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: After Effects, Animate, Audition, Bridge, Character Animator, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InCopy, InDesign, Lightroom Classic, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Premiere Pro. Ability to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot all media related infrastructure within area of responsibility. Highly skilled and knowledgeable with Microsoft based operating systems: Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Server 2022, Windows 10, Windows 11. Proficient with Linux based distributions such as: Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian. Proficient with the following hypervisors: VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V. Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory administration. Proficient with Microsoft Group Policy management. Proficient with Synology Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliances. Proficient with Storage Area Network technologies such as: Dell, HP, EMC, Avid NEXIS, Fiber Channel, iSCSI. Proficient with Scripting technologies such as: Batch, Command, VBScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl. Proficient with application and troubleshooting of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Create and work incident and service tickets as needed utilizing customer ticketing system. ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office products. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to effectively manage time and schedules. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to create technical and user documentation for media related infrastructure within area of responsibility. Knowledge of standardized Department of Defense, Air Force, service regulations, organizational policies, procedures, and other instructions relating to infrastructure within area of responsibility. Be able to install equipment, pull cable, label and terminate various low voltage cable types. Job Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience. 10+
