Meta Security Policy Manager, Threat Disruption in Menlo Park, California
Summary:
The Threat Disruption team within Meta Security Policy is dedicated to identifying, tracking, disrupting, and deterring adversarial threat actors. This work includes understanding the risks we face, crafting policies that govern acceptable use of our platforms, working across Meta to build detection and enforcement responses to counter threats and keep people safe, and working with partners in government, civil society, and across industry to help drive whole-of-society responses to protect targeted communities and tackle security threats.We are looking for an experienced lead to work with our Director of Threat Disruption and Disruption Pillar leads to drive high priority projects across Meta’s Security Policy team. This role will focus on enabling high-impact detection, disruption, and deterrence across a range of problem areas, including cyber-espionage, influence operations, fraud/scams, and inauthentic behavior.

Security Policy Manager, Threat Disruption Responsibilities:
Guide strategy across adversarial threat problem areas through stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and internal coordination
Partner with subject matter experts and pillar leads to scale their impact and drive efficiency across problem areas
Partner with and counsel product and operations teams to implement scaled solutions
Work with Operations, investigations, and outsourcing teams to ensure that high priority escalations are reviewed
Understand and advise leadership on complex security and cybersecurity problems
Minimum Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of experience in government, cybersecurity, risk management, or technology
8+ years of relevant experience in government, cybersecurity, risk management, or technology
Experience in analysis, operations, project management, or program management at technology companies and/or in government
Experience leading or advising diverse teams in the security industry
Experience managing projects, tasks, and tracking deliverables
Experience driving strategy at the organizational level
Understanding of current threats and trends in cybersecurity, including influence operations, fraud/scams, espionage, malware, and spam
Familiarity with Meta's existing public enforcement policies and procedures
Experience working in a dynamic environment
Experience operating independently and with ambiguity

Experience in security, cybersecurity, or law enforcement roles
Advanced degree or equivalent years of experience in government, cybersecurity, risk management or technology
Public Compensation:
$183,000/year to $253,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
