Responsibilities

• You will be part of a infrastructure software engineering team collaboratively designs, builds, and maintains tools that ensuring seamless and efficient operations for the organization's which accelerating the developer experience.

• You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.    

• Engage in and improve end-to-end lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.    

• Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issues.   

• Apply modern software engineering practices to streamline deployments, drive down costs and operational overhead while meeting critical reliability and availability KPIs.   

• Work hand in hand with engineering teams to offer guidance and education on integration, testing, monitoring, and security across different technology stacks.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in GO, Kubernetes, CI\CD concepts and hands on implementation experiences

2+ years of Software Engineering and experience in testing, deploying and supporting large scale services on Azure/AWS/GCP environments.   

Other Requirements:

. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR equivalent experience.

. Proven experience with building micro services, supportability and monitoring Infrastructures

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
