We are looking for a Technical program manager II to provide leadership, direction, and accountability for cloud buildout, service validation, delivery optimization and resource planning.

Responsibilities
You will help conduct region analysis and orchestrate deployment of our production services. Collaboration skills will be required to work closely with other engineering teams to ensure services and systems are highly stable, meet performance SLAs, and meet the expectations of internal and external customers and users.
Responsibilities –
Planning & Execution Excellence: Partner with the PM team to help facilitate the rhythm of business (Rob) for the team, including regular staff meetings, post-incident response reviews, and semester planning.
Communications: Enhance employee engagement by producing written and visual communication assets that elicit employee engagement through impactful internal messaging with a consistent voice and visual content for team meetings and other events.
Region Buildout: Work closely with our various product groups to enable delivery of their products into our Air Gap and Sovereign cloud environments. Focus will be on execution of product buildout timelines, providing status updates on product buildout to various levels of leadership, working through blockers and risk areas with our internal and external partners, and driving product through the full buildout lifecycle process.
Compliance & Accreditation: Drive our services through the defined Government and Microsoft service accreditation process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Security Clearance Requirements : Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
3+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
Experience with program management for cloud computing, online services, enterprise software development, engineering and/or operations at scale.
Understanding of certification requirements and translating into actionable engineering plans
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not required.
Ability to thrive with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security Researchers, and Data Scientists
Developing Leadership skills: Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
