US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. Responsibilities:
Provides configuration management support to assigned projects.
Manages the local Definitive Media Library and processes requests to change the authorized product list (APL).
Processes service request and change request tickets using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool.
Provides guidance and work leadership to configuration team members.
Completes monthly Configuration Management audits.
Builds and designs dashboards and reports in response to customer for information (RFIs) using Excel, Access, Tableau and ServiceNow.
Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates. Updates existing configuration databases.
Develops configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.
Identifies requirements and coordinates the development and implementation of computer-based configuration/data management systems and related support activities.
Provides guidance and training to managers, site leads, engineers, systems, and network administrators regarding configuration management procedures.
Applies comprehensive knowledge of ITIL principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to configuration management.
Serves as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Configuration Management, Baseline Management for supporting external requests, data calls, and Contract Deliverables (CDRL) reporting to the Program Office.
Ensure all internal configuration management processes and procedures have been followed.
Participates in special projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Configuration Management experience required.
5+ years of industry experience.
Must possess a SECRET Security Clearance.
BA/BS
Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL V4 Foundation or possess equivalent higher certifications.
Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
Ideal candidate will have experience in:
Utilizing Tableau, JIRA, ServiceNow, SCSM, Access or other tools used to manage and control daily work and process improvement initiatives.
Using Pivot tables in Excel
Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support.
Comprehensive knowledge of and familiarity with configuration management software applications.
The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $105,225. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
