Job Description

The IT Security Programmer

· Performs a root cause analysis to address underlying issues.

· Conducts threat actor research.

· Understands and identifies vulnerabilities related to IPv4, IPv6, networks, systems, storage, and applications.

· Identifies network and system vulnerabilities

· Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.

· Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.

· Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.

· Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

· Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

· Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

· Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.

· Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.

· Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

· Prepares and presents briefings.

· Produces technical documentation.

· Identifies critical infrastructure systems with information communication technology that were designed without system security considerations.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or at least 4 additional years of IT work experience

· 10+ years experience in Cybersecurity area

· IAT Level II certification

· DoD 8570 Compliant CSSP Auditor or

· Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or

· Offensive Security Web Expert Certification (OSWE)
